my dad passed away on the 20/12/08 due to a second stroke.
he couldnt stay with us any longer as he was so tired.
We miss him so much every day, but we know that he is now in a better place and no pain.we all loved him so much. xxx
IN MEMORY OF DAD
He was the anchor of my dreams,
He warmed my heart like sunlight beams,
He eased my sorrows with words soft and mild,
He was a true friend to a wandering child.
In times of distress he comforted me,
He wiped my tears, he took away my misery,
To me he was a shining knight,
A source of strength through a lonely night.
After years of laughter he was taken away,
I cried, I pined for him many a day,
Now as I tread this path without him by my side,
His love and blessing will always be my guide.
So, dear dad, I need you to
help me live this life full of worth and value,
and I hope when I meet you in heaven above,
we'll be together, forever, in a haven of love.

dad it is 3 years now since you had to go, we still miss you as much now as we did that day, you are always in our thoughts day in day out and will always be in our hearts xxxx
Footprints In The Sand x
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My child, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
DAD SORRY I DIDNT GET TO YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY. I JUST FIND IT HARD AT TIMES TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. BUT YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALWAYS IN OUR THOUGHTS EVERY DAY. XXX
